Recently I contributed to one or two causes who sent me mail about their particular interests. Now it seems that every other cause has my name and wants money and support. While I am fairly confident that some of these are legitimate, I do not have any idea about others. I guess my question is how can you know if these are worthy, and can you be supportive without the deluge of junk mail? Not only is this irritating, but it takes a lot of time.
