MSU Riley Center to Announce its 4th Season
By
Mississippi State University Riley Center for Education and Performing Arts will announce its fourth annual performing arts season on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. The center is hosting an after-work social from 5 pm to 7 pm for theater patrons, the media and public at large to hear the line-up of nationally and internationally touring artists that will make up the 2009-2010 season. Complementary hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided.
“There will be plenty of surprises including a strong group of headliners as well as up-and-coming artists, covering a variety of genres. We expect significant attention regionally and beyond for several of the artists we’re bringing in this year, and we have a few changes planned for this season in response to patron feedback,” said Penny Kemp, marketing director for the MSU Riley Center. “I encourage anyone who has a passion for performing arts, whether they’ve attended a Riley Center performance to date or not, to come down and learn about this year’s season. If you can’t make it, be sure to check out our website on July 9th for full details.”
